Hot/Swing Jazz Jam

Bring an ipad if you have one for air-dropping charts. This is a living room style jam. Participating musicians sit in a circle (as opposed to having a host-band that backs-up a performer). Everyone gets a turn to call songs and take a solo break on any song (if they want). It can be as introductory or advanced as the players that show up. The cozy jam space can not accommodate drums, horns or amplification (but if you reach out to events@singingwoodinstitute, we can point you to local jams that can). There is a futon if you have curious humans who want to show support. Extraneous space is a bit limited but they are welcome.
